COST 21151 HAPLO-iPS (https://haplo-ips.eu).

We are pleased to announce the First RegenBell symposium on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, which will take place on November 27-28th at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans, downtown in Barcelona. The primary goal of the symposium is to establish an inclusive and collaborative platform for scientists interested in Regenerative Medicine.

This is the first time that IDIBELL’s RegenBell program organizes an international symposium. This one-and-a-half-day symposium will feature international and local speakers and aims to cover a wide range of topics, including stem cell biology, development, adult stem cells and clinical applications of regenerative medicine in order to discuss the recent advancements that have significantly expanded our understanding of stem cell biology. Additionally, it will showcase new technologies to study stem cell diversity, function and differentiation including advanced imaging techniques, organoids, single-cell omics technologies and computational tools.

Additionally, the symposium will also include a round table of experts discussing the practical problems of translating regenerative medicine strategies to the clinical practice.

We expect that this event will be a great opportunity to strengthen our links and interactions with scientists from other IDIBELL programs interested in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine applications in other topics such as cancer, neurobiology and other diseases.

All those who want to participate in the symposium can submit an abstract for short talk/poster presentation before October 15th the symposium website. A scientific committee will select the abstracts based on relevance and scientific excellence.

Registration is also open until November 11th via web. The registration is free, and we recommend you reserve your place as soon as possible (participants limited to 150).

We look forward to seeing you all soon,

The organizing committee
