On May 28, 2025, Room 315 of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) hosted the latest edition of the Financial Academy, dedicated to one of the most relevant topics in today’s corporate world – the preparation of non-financial reports and the integrated audit of ESG practices, with experts from Deloitte.
The event attracted students and young professionals who had the opportunity to meet with Deloitte experts and learn how sustainability is integrated into both the financial and non-financial processes of modern businesses.
Kristina Gospodinova, Senior Manager of Audit and Assurance at Deloitte, presented the core principles and challenges involved in preparing non-financial reports. During her presentation, she introduced the participants to international sustainability reporting frameworks and emphasized the importance of integrated audits in ensuring transparency and the reliability of ESG information.
Special thanks go to Spasiana Nikolova, Human Resources Specialist at Deloitte, for her assistance and support in making the event possible.
The lecture evolved into an engaging discussion, where participants raised questions about the real-world challenges businesses face in implementing ESG standards, as well as the role of young professionals in building a sustainable future.
The Financial Academy continues its mission to build a bridge between academic education and real-world business practice. Through events like this, students gain valuable opportunities to connect with leading experts and deepen their knowledge of key topics in today’s economic and managerial landscape.
The Financial Academy is an initiative of the FEBA Alumni Club and the Business Club.
