“The goal of the company as a responsible corporate citizen is to provide a suitable environment and to provide opportunities for professional and personal development of young people and professionals. To achieve this goal, CEZ actively cooperates with higher education institutions. Our partnership is aimed at updating the curricula and keeping young people in Bulgaria”, said Karel Kral, CEZ's regional manager for Bulgaria.

“Today, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration enters another strategic partnership with a leading international company. This is a natural continuation of our previous joint initiatives with the companies from the CEZ group in Bulgaria to enrich our educational content with materials and guest lectures, for postgraduate qualification and to improve the opportunities for professional realization of our students. The topic of energy markets and climate policies is leading for us and with today's agreement we expect to strengthen our leadership position in this area”, said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

CEZ is developing a long-term policy in support of vocational education in Bulgaria. Part of this policy is a long-term partnership with vocational high schools and universities. In 2020, the company created a specialized site “Energy for the Future” to encourage and motivate young people to choose electricity for their careers.
