On 24 March 2026, the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) adopted amendments to several key internal regulations related to Bachelor's degree studies. The changes were introduced in response to student proposals and raised questions, as well as in light of recent updates to the faculty’s curricula and academic documentation.
Among the adopted amendments to the Rules on the Recognition of Exams Passed at Other Higher Education Institutions and Faculties of Sofia University is the possibility for additional successfully passed exams within the framework of Erasmus+ student mobility, which are not included in the curricula of the Bachelor's programmes at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, to be recognised as elective courses with a workload of 30 lecture hours and 2 credits.
The Faculty Council also adopted a change to the Rules on the Organisation of Instruction in Elective Subjects at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, according to which, as an exception, specialised elective courses in the Bachelor's degree programme may be conducted even with groups of fewer than six students, when, due to objective reasons, it is not possible to form a standard group.
Amendments were also adopted to the Rules on the Organisation of the Language Studies - Bachelor's Degree . These provide that students in Bachelor's programmes taught entirely in English will be exempt from taking a placement test when enrolling in an elective English language course.
With these amendments, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration continues to develop its internal regulations towards a more flexible, accessible, and student-oriented educational environment.
