The Aleksander Foundation, established by faculty alumnus Aleksander Petrov, is establishing itself as an inspiring platform for professional development and career guidance. His success and commitment to young people continue to serve as a strong example for current students.

This year’s edition of the London Trip included Boyana Hristova, Yoan Krastev, Martin Nakov, and Riste Petrov, who had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic environment of London—one of the world’s leading financial centers.

During their stay, the students visited three prestigious universities in London, as well as a number of well-established companies and innovative startups. They met with professionals from various fields, gained insight into real business practices, and learned more about international career development opportunities.

In addition to the professional meetings, the program also provided a valuable opportunity for networking—both with industry experts and with other motivated young people, with whom the participants exchanged ideas, experiences, and inspiration.

The students shared that their participation in the London Trip was an extremely meaningful experience.

“I can definitely say that The London Trip broadened my horizons and helped me see firsthand how work is done in one of Europe’s main financial hubs. I met outstanding professionals and inspiring individuals who are role models for my career path”, said Boyana Hristova, a fourth-year student in Economics and Finance.

“The London Trip was truly an enriching experience. Few people have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the work of some of the world’s leading corporations and academic institutions, as well as emerging startups. It was inspiring to see fellow Bulgarians succeed on such a global stage”, shared Yoan Krastev, a Master’s student in International Financial Management.

“London Trip was an extremely useful and inspiring experience for me, as it gave me the opportunity to meet established professionals from the world of business and finance, as well as to visit some of the most prestigious universities in London, which broadened my perspective on my future development”, explained Martin Nakov, a Master’s student in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer.

Participation in the program not only broadens students’ professional horizons but also motivates them to pursue their goals more boldly. London Trip 2026 once again proves that when young people gain access to a real business environment and inspiring role models, they can build confidence and a clear vision for their future.
