Prof. DSc Tsvetan Davidkov from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” took part in a round table discussion dedicated to the transfer of knowledge, technologies, and innovation, attended by more than 90 students and PhD candidates. The event provided an opportunity for active dialogue between academia and practice on the role of universities in supporting entrepreneurship.
During the discussion, Prof. Davidkov presented the integrated model of FEBA, which combines education, research, and active collaboration with business in the field of technology transfer.
He emphasized:
- the integration of entrepreneurship and innovation into bachelor’s and master’s programs;
- the development of specialized programs such as the Master’s program “Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer”;
- practical initiatives, including the national competition “Best Youth Startup of Bulgaria”, implemented in partnership with the Fund of Funds;
- participation in international projects and innovation networks, including, for example, the Green Digital Hub for Startups and Social Enterprises.
In conclusion, it was highlighted that FEBA is building a comprehensive ecosystem that brings together education, practice, and partnerships with business, with the aim of creating and implementing innovations in real-world settings.
