The monograph “Education 4.0 and innovative techniques in teaching” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nadya Velinova-Sokolova was printed and published. The book is published by the University Publishing House “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nadya Velinova-Sokolova is a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski”. She defended her doctoral dissertation in 2004 in the field of derivative financial instruments. Her research interests are in the field of accounting and analysis of financial instruments, the activities of non-bank financial institutions, the development of portfolio theory, as well as the analysis and assessment of risk.

The monograph “Education 4.0 and innovative techniques in teaching” aims to present the latest models and techniques of teaching related to the specifics and requirements of Industry 4.0 and the development of higher education in the field of accounting in the context of Education 4.0. The topicality of the considered problem is related to the analysis of the challenges faced by the higher education institutions in the conditions of pandemic and the application of innovative teaching methods.

The book is created for teachers, students and anyone interested in innovative teaching techniques in higher education, in particular with regard to the teaching of accounting and finance.
