Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Pelova is among the top 100 most influential IT personalities in Bulgaria for 2024. This was indicated by the annual index of Career Show "Top 100 Most Influential IT Personalities in Bulgaria". The index recognizes the achievements of local IT professionals and innovators and highlights their contribution to the development of the sector in the country. The rankings are determined based on public voting. In support of the nominees this year, over 11,000 votes were cast.
The index features individuals who have garnered the most votes. Among those ranked in the index are founders of Bulgarian software companies and projects, technical directors of large international companies, lecturers and trainers, as well as founders of the largest software academies in our country, among others.
There is a noticeable increase in the presence of women in the sector among this year's Top 100 Most Influential IT Personalities in Bulgaria. Among the women who have found a place in the index are Prof. Silvia Ilievа, Director of the GATE Institute, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natalia Futekova, Manager of the ERP Academy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Pelova, Academic Director of the master's program "Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Iva Yankova, Founder of Logischool, and others.
