Prof. Davidkov drew the audience's attention to the importance of the STEM approach in supporting students' motivation and interest in science and technology. STEM creates opportunities for students to develop the competencies needed to successfully meet the challenges of the 21st century. Combining the STEM approach with "standard" education creates an educational environment that helps students to be competent, creative, and successful in the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Prof. Sokolova presented the transition from Education 4.0 to Education 5.0 in the context of the STEM approach and the innovative teaching techniques associated with it. The process of digitization in education was also presented. The use of modern technologies in the educational process accelerates students' acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies suitable for the modern world. The advantages and disadvantages of "active learning," teamwork, and learning outside the classroom were discussed.

The participation of colleagues in the calendar of the Regional Education Management - Sofia was highly appreciated by the organizers and participants.
