On April 27, 2024, in the month of Earth, students from the master's program "Responsible and Sustainable Governance” at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration conducted a volunteer action to clean a relaxation zone in Vitosha Nature Park, located near the Dragalevski lift. Faculty members and volunteers participated in the action.
The participants collected trash around the area, cleaned the benches and a wooden bridge. All of them were renovated by lacquering.
Additionally, some of the volunteers also cleaned the rainwater drainage ditches.
Funds were raised in advance for the volunteer event to purchase materials, and part of them will be donated to the fundraising campaign "Make the Change Happen", organized by another group of students from the same program in support of renovating the alley in front of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
In addition to the many tasks they accomplished together, the participants managed to share a pleasant day in the mountains.
