The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, was the first guest on the newest show on "Alma Mater TV" – The "University". In the first episode of the production, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgiev introduced the faculty, and the opportunities it offers to students, teachers, and businesses.

 

Assoc. Prof. Georgiev shared his journey at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, where he completed his education, his active participation in student initiatives, as well as the challenges in his role as a teacher and Dean. The show revealed more information about the role of the faculty not only as an educational institution but also as a link connecting businesses with quality professionals and as a place fostering suitable environments for key contacts, partnerships, and friendships.

In a special report, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, Vice-Dean of "Sustainability, Empowerment, and Engagement, showcased some of the renovated halls and spaces for learning, work, and relaxation. Adrianа Branicheva, a fourth-year student, also participated, sharing information about various student initiatives.

Assoc. Prof. Georgiev discussed the programs offered by the faculty, as well as the mission of the teachers - to impart lessons to their students, to learn from them, and to develop their knowledge together not only in the halls of the faculty but also after graduation.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is a leading Bulgarian business school, the first internationally accredited business school in Bulgaria - by AMBA. Currently, the faculty is the only member of the AACSB network and the first business school to join the GBSN.
