The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, signed a cooperation agreement. Within the framework of the contract, mutual assistance will be provided for the training and development of the academic staff, knowledge and experience, exchange and joint work in various scientific and educational fields will be provided.
The cooperation will be focused on the following:
- Exchange of academic staff;
- Support of research staff and student exchange;
- Exchange of books, publications and scientific materials for educational, training and research purposes;
- Promotion and organization of scientific meetings;
- Support of collaborative research activities and publications.
Universidad de los Andes is a private research university located in the center of the city of Bogotá, Colombia. Founded in 1948, the university has 153 research groups, most of them in the fields of social sciences, mathematics, physics and engineering, 12 faculties and a total of 20 administrative units. The main aspirations are both in academic achievement and in creating critical thinking in students related to their social and civic responsibilities.
