On Ivanovden in the elevated atmosphere of hall 300 of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, the end of the Marketing Game 2022/2023, which is traditionally played by the students of the Faculty's undergraduate programs was given. It is a team game that can be played by several players, aiming to put them in close-to-real-world conditions and challenge them to make management decisions. Each decision leads to a precise outcome, which introduces a form of competition between the teams. The ultimate goal is, based on the decisions made, to distinguish the team that made the best decisions and thus achieved an edge over the others.


This year, the three places of honor are distributed as follows:

  • 1st place: Guitar O (5,576 points) – Iveta Dimitrova, Vladislav Urdzhanov, Danail Gushev
  • 2nd place: Violin E (4,790 points) – Svetoslav Slavov, Viktoria Mihailova, Dinko Troev, Delyana Penelova
  • 3rd place: Drums E (4,558 points) – Iliyana Paralyuzova, Katina Velikova, Militsa Ivanova, Ivaylo Georgiev

All awarded students received a gift from Prof. D.Sc. Nevyana Krasteva, and the awards were presented by Petar Seizov, who is a long-time expert in organizing the Marketing Game and a friend of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

After the award ceremony, experts from the marketing team of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria Galina Petrova, Emil Myankov, Nikolay Tinkov and Krum Stoimenov, who is a graduate of FEBA, spoke about the inspiration to engage in marketing and be a professional in the field. The presentation touched on important topics that present both the general framework and the specific tasks of the classic and advanced marketing mix in the everyday life of marketers.
