At the General Assembly of the Council for Innovation, Digitalization and New Technologies at the BCCI, held on February 17, a new governing body was elected, part of which became the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" — Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, in the role of vice-chairman.

Radoslav Petkov - an expert in the FMCG, retail, telecommunications, and management consulting sectors and with many years of management experience in growth strategies and organizational transformation - was elected as the Chairman of the Council's Management Board. Marko Markov, who is the chief advisor of the EIB, finance in the "Sustainable Energy" sector, and a leading expert in the team for the creation of the National Decarbonization Fund, was also elected as vice-chairmen, in addition to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev. Kamen Slavov - a Fund of Funds Management Board member, Prof. Dr. Eng. Fantina Rangelova - creator, leader, and teacher of the Master's program "Management of Projects in Construction" at UASG, Todor Vodenicharov - executive director of companies in the "Healthcare" sector was elected as a Management Board member. Assoc. Prof. Ivan Stankov - part of the academic staff of the Department of "Computer Systems and Management" of Technical University and vice-chairman of the Association of Young Scientists; Nikola Ruichev - founder of a company providing cloud services; and Kostadin Manev who has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property and competition law.

The new board will focus on accelerating the development of Bulgaria's innovation and technology ecosystem at the regional and global level through projects, mentoring, and dynamic coordination between universities, businesses, NGOs, government, people, and societies.
