For the 10th year in a row, on October 16th, in the “Vitosha” Hall of the Vitosha Park Hotel, “Levcheto” was held – an event for young people, aimed at increasing their financial literacy, organized by the youth organization “AIESEC Bulgaria”. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration has been a traditional partner of the initiative since its inception.
The Dean of FEBA, Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev, Ph.D., participated in the opening and congratulated AIESEC Bulgaria for the sustainability of the initiative and for the positive example it sets - connecting students with leading companies and practitioners. Prof. Georgiev emphasized that for the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, connecting theory with practice is a main goal and a competitive advantage.
The Dean of FEBA encouraged the students to use the opportunities for professional contacts during the event and wished success to all the teams that will compete in the simulation. “Levcheto” is an event suitable for everyone who wants to enrich their financial culture, test their knowledge in practice and find new professional contacts. Traditionally, the event takes place in two stages – the first is a panel discussion where investment, banking and personal finance professionals give valuable advice on personal finance and first steps in investing. The second part is the trademark of “Levcheto” – the investment simulation, where participants have the chance to test their knowledge in an exciting recreation of the financial markets.
