On March 18 the competition for selection of students for participation in the pilot KBC Bulgaria - ESG Academy, which is part of the joint activities between United Bulgarian Bank AD and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” for promoting sustainable governance and finance, ended successfully.
The competition was held with great interest. Almost one hundred participants from eleven cities and eleven universities submitted their applications and answered the question what are their three arguments for the development of the circular and low-carbon economy in Bulgaria. Preference was given to students who have no or up to 1 year of work experience and have not participated in such training.
Approved for participation in the first edition of KBC Bulgaria - ESG Academy are 25 employees and partners of UBB and the following students:
- Yasen Georgiev, University of National and World Economy
- Martin Denchev, University of National and World Economy
- Beloslava Simeonova, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski”
- Georgi Pavlov, International Business School Georgi Zlatev, Lauder Business School
The first module of the Academy starts on March 18.
