Do you want to be part of the change? Can you imagine how the world around us could be cleaner and more beautiful? Do you want to start the summer as a volunteer?

If the answer is "YES", you are our person, and we are waiting for you because...

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is launching an initiative to transform the pedestrian underpass and the Change Bureau at the "Iztok“ bus stop into a virtual gateway to a carbon-neutral and sustainable world. The project will be carried out in four stages:

  • Cleaning the abandoned commercial spaces;
  • Installing new LED lighting;
  • Thoroughly cleaning the area in and around the underpass;
  • Creating a thematic mural “Net Zero World”.

With your help, fellow students, volunteers from the neighborhood, and a team from the faculty, we plan several consecutive volunteer days to complete the planned activities by the end of June 2024.

If you resonate with the idea and want to support us, please submit your application for participation in the volunteer days here: https://forms.gle/nBckNvRwPujJV91u7.

The project is being implemented in partnership with the Izgrev district, Slatina district, Association of Sustainability Specialists, HPE Bulgaria, Chisti.BG, Business Club, and ESG Platform.

Net Zero Underpass is part of the leadership’s concept at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration to create a Net Zero Campus as a dream sustainable space where knowledge, scientific discoveries, and street art come together to create a healthy, supportive, and encouraging environment for living and development for young people and the neighborhood.
