On February 16, the first event of the year of the British-Bulgarian Business Association (BBBA) Meet the Members was held. Traditionally, the association's new members were introduced, part of which were the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Kitchen59, Entract127, Paysafe, Optimized Web Bulgaria, and others. The faculty was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Bogdanova, head of the Career Center of FEBA.
BBBA was founded four years ago and, in that short period, has attracted more than 200 companies as its members. Their mission is to stimulate and support business between Great Britain and Bulgaria, as well as to support the business interests of their members through forums for the exchange of good business practices that contribute to more dynamic and successful economic relations between Bulgaria and Great Britain. The association works closely with the Embassy of Great Britain in Bulgaria, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Great Britain, and the British Chambers of Commerce worldwide. It organizes a summer internship program for its member companies, which is aimed at attracting Bulgarian students to Great Britain to intern in leading Bulgarian, British, and international companies.
