On March 16, 2024, as part of the master's course "Economic Policy", led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Zlatinov and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Raleva, a guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Tsvetoslav Mikov - Head of the "Budget Methodology" Department at the Ministry of Finance.

Students from the master's programs in "Economics and Finance", "Customs and Tax Control", "Economics and Management of Public Resources" and "Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance" were briefed on the process of conducting fiscal policy in Bulgaria, changes in European legislation in the public sector, fiscal rules and constraints, the scope of the state budget, and the application of program budgeting. As a result of the discussion, good practices in managing public finances based on the experience of the Netherlands and France and their applicability in Bulgarian conditions were discussed.
