Back in july, the students taking the course “Data Science in Business and Finance” had the opportunity to work on the creation of an automated solution based on a case study with real data, developed by Schwarz IT Bulgaria for the master’s program “Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance”.
At the beginning of the summer semester last year, Pencho Dobrev, head of the BI, AI & Data department at Schwarz IT Bulgaria, together with Slav Yolov and Nedyalko Yordanov, part of the same department, presented to the students the main theoretical and technological aspects related to the development of the “K -App” by Kaufland.
Within the semester, students were given access to real data for the “K-App” case study, as well as an opportunity for direct communication and mentoring from the BI, AI & Data team in developing case solutions. The course ended with presentations of the developed solutions, with each team receiving constructive feedback and guidance for development and improvement.
