On June 9, 2023 the first online module of the academy “Women's rights in the changing world of work” took place. The Academy is the beginning of series of initiatives between the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) and "Zonta International" focusing on equality (between women and men) and sustainability.

During the event Assoc. Prof. Marina Stefanova stated that we face global crisis that are not linear and rapidly escalating, which will require businesses to be more adaptive and innovative in order to meet the various challenges. Olya Peneva focused on the importance of implementing equality policies as part of corporate human rights policies.

The next module of the academy on June 15, 2023 will cover the topics on women economic empowerment, family friendly policies and some of the key initiatives on women’s rights at workplace, cyber security and leadership.
