After successfully passing the competition, Prof. Dr. Vanya Ivanova joins the team of the Department of Economics from the beginning of the academic year 2022/2023
Prof. Dr. Vanya Ivanova has a master’s degree in European Sciences from the University of Nancy, France, and defended her dissertation on “Essence and features of the construction of the European monetary union”. Since 2009, Prof. Ivanova has been successfully involved as a lecturer in various courses in the French program in Economics and Finance and Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA). Her extensive experience includes teaching microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, international finance, economic policies for sustainable development and the economic and financial system of the EU in Bulgarian and French and at other universities in the country.
Prof. Dr. Vanya Ivanova has numerous specializations abroad, directly related to upgrading the competencies for teaching and research activities. In addition to administrative experience in the structures of the UNSS, where she was deputy dean, Prof. Ivanova participated in research and applied projects in line with European and national funding in various positions.
In recent years, the increased interest of Prof. Dr. Vanya Ivanova in current issues of economic development related to the circular economy and sustainability can be seen. He is the author of over 80 publications, which include monographs and book chapters, scientific studies, stages and reports, textbooks and teaching aids in Bulgarian, English and French in refereed publications in the country and abroad.
