A team from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration has been awarded the project "The Social Economy as a Catalyst of Economic Well-Being", funded by the Fund for Scientific Research within the framework of a contest for the funding of basic scientific research.

The Head of the project is Prof. Dr. Albena Vutsova, and participants in the scientific team are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Yalamov, Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Martina Arabadzhieva, as well as PhD students Lyubomira Gancheva and Rutiana Ngundo.

The project aims to analyze the role of the social economy as an accelerator of economic well-being and reducing inequality.

Within the framework of the project, emphasis is placed on the support of young researchers. It is envisaged that the results will be made available to public institutions to support the development of specific activities aimed at the development of the social economy, through which the welfare of society will be increased and inequality reduced.
