Department of Industrial Economics and Management
The Department of Industrial Economics and Management was founded on February 18, 2008 with the main goal to improve the relation of the educational process with the real needs of the Bulgarian economy. The creation and development of Economics and Management Master Programmes together with specialists from the practice are among its main priorities.
The Department is responsible for the academic curriculum of the following Bachelor's Degree Programmes:
- International Trade and Investment (since 2025)
- participation at: Climate Change and Management (since 2023, managed by the Faculty of Geology and Geography)
The Department is responsible for the academic curriculum of the following Master's Degree Programmes:
- Nuclear Technologies, Management, and Innovations (together with the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University)
- Innovation and Digital Transformation of Agribusiness
- Economics and Management of Public Resources
- Responsible and Sustainable Governance
- Property and Facility Management
- Digital Management of Tourism
The department is responsible for the development of the PhD Programme "Economics and Management (Industry)
