FEBA’s Dean Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev took part in the first Alumni Day at the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Assoc. Prof. Georgiev has participated in a number of trainings at FSR before and keeps close contact with the team of the Florence School of Regulations.
The first FSR Alumni Day gathered participants from all courses, course directors, instructors, and coordinators. Since its establishment in 2004, the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) has been training more than 10 000 participants. In 2014, the FSR launched its first online course, and since then, more than 60 online courses have been welcoming energy professionals and academics from worldwide.
This special event aimed to hear back from the community of Alumni and to celebrate their successful learning paths. The programme included an open discussion with Jean-Michel Glachant, Pippo Ranci and Ignacio Perez-Arriaga followed by working groups addressing different energy topical issues. The afternoon was dedicated to networking activities.
