- Activities are held at the Academic Sports Complex, Geo Milev residential area, near Asics Arena. The women's representative basketball team is looking for girls who have played and wish to join the Sofia University team. Email: peltekova@uni-sofia.bg

 

- Training sessions with the men's representative team are held on Wednesday from 21:00 to 22:30 and Friday from 18:00 to 19:30 in the sports hall at the Faculty of Biology. Training sessions with the women's representative team are held on Monday and Thursday from 18:00 to 19:30 in the sports hall of the Faculty of Biology. All students who have practiced this sport at a higher level and wish to join the representative teams (men and women) of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" are asked to contact Chief. assist. - Judo and combat sports - The activities take place at the 'Akademik' Sports Complex, Geo Milev district, near the 'Asics Arena' hall.

 

- Circuit training, Pilates, Majorettes, Tabata - The activities take place in Block 8, near the 'Druvenitsa' bus stop with buses 88, 413, and the stop before UNSS in Student City with bus 280. The representative teams in Majorette Disciplines at the University accept students from 1st to 4th year from all faculties and specialisations for training. The teams participate in student tournaments and championships. Training sessions are held in the hall at Akademik Stadium in Geo Milev district and in Student City, Block 8 (SU dormitory). Kinesitherapy - block 8, Kinesitherapy - Rectorate - The sessions are suitable for students who want to improve their general physical and health condition, build correct posture, as well as for students with health problems that prevent them from attending other sports disciplines. The sessions are held at the Kinesitherapy Centre - Rectorate and at the Sports Centre - Student Town, block 8 (SU dormitory). Registration is done online, except for students with health problems – for them, registration is done on-site at the respective facility, upon presentation of a medical document - medical certificate, discharge summary, disability certificate, imaging results, or other document certifying their health condition.

 

- Sessions are held at the Kinesiotherapy Centre, in the Rectorate building. Corrective gymnastics is a primary means of preventing and treating poor posture and spinal deformities. For information: Assoc. Prof. Gergana Despotova (kinesiotherapist) – gdespotova@uni-sofia.bg

 

- Athletics and Group Conditioning Workouts - Athletics sessions are held at the V. Levski National Stadium (indoor track in winter). Group conditioning workouts are held in the hall in block 8, Student Town. Students who want to join the athletics representative team or are athletes should contact the lecturer by email: inkostova@uni-sofia.bg

 

- Activities take place at the Sports Complex "Bonsist", Student Town.

 

- Activities take place at PAMBOS DANCING CENTER, 2 Angel Kanchev St.

 

- Activities take place at "Nature and Science-1938" Community Centre, 86 Tsar Samuil St.

 

- Activities take place at the pool of "Academic" Stadium - 4 km, behind the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Philosophy. Entry to the pool is organised by the instructor. Latecomers are not allowed. Mandatory equipment: flip-flops, swimsuit, swimming caps.

 

- Activities will take place at NSA "V. Levski".

 

- Activities take place at the Rectorate, the Wall, above the Monetary Hall.

 

- Activities take place at Student City, Bonsist, "Barocco sport" Tennis Courts.

 

- Activities take place at the Higher School of Telecommunications and Posts (sports hall).

 

- Activities take place from 06.10.25 to 01.11.25 at Lake Ariana, Borisova Garden near Eagle Bridge. From 03.11.25 to 22.12.25 activities will take place over the Simeonovo district. The meeting point is the last stop of bus No. 67, from 05.01.26 until the end of the semester at the square in Dragalevtsi district, bus No. 64. Activities in the second semester will continue in Dragalevtsi district.

IMPORTAND!

The representative FOOTBALL team of the University accepts students who have trained in youth football academies of clubs from across the country as well as those competing in the 'B' AFG or regional leagues. For information: Prof. Dr. Georgi Ignatov - team coach (Room 120, Rectorate). The representative futsal team is recruiting women for training and participation in student tournaments and championships. - Yoga classes are held at 'Aditi Yoga Studio', 51 Cherni Vruh Blvd.

 

- Chess classes are held in Room B302, Faculty of Physics, 5 James Bourchier Blvd.
