Students obtain the basics in mathematics, physics as well as fundamental knowledge of the astrophysics, geophysics and meteorology. Excursions, practical training and field work complement the classroom learning. Students can choose one of three specialisations: astrophysics, geophysics or meteorology. Astronomy students have direct access to observations with the largest operational astronomical facility in South-Eastern Europe, the 2 m telescope of the National Astronomical Observatory Rozhen.
