On March 30 and 31, 2023, the Association for production, storage and trading of electricity (APSTE), the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski" and Utilitis magazine organized the fourth edition of the training "Good practices in the construction of photovoltaic plants". Earlier in 2022, three more editions of the same training were held, with over 250 industry professionals participating in the four events.

The event was opened by Mariyana Yaneva, Director Policy & Communications, APSTE, and by the Dean of FEBA, Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev. Lecturers in the training were Maiyana Yaneva; Valentin Gospodinov, Country Director for Bulgaria, Sunotec; Dimitar Dimitrov, Renewable Energy Insurance Broker; Dimitar Tsekov, Technical & Operations Director at Renergy Ltd; Krasimira Petkova, Head of ESG, Eneri Bulgaria; Kristian Mitov, xFigure Finance; Roza Ivanova, xFigure Finance; Stefana Tsekova, lawyer, Schoenherr. The training is part of the initiatives related to the Master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at the Faculty.

The course is based on SolarPower Europe's "Guide to Best Practices in the Design, Procurement, and Construction of Photovoltaic Power Plants", which APSTE translated, supplementing it with guidelines from the experience of Bulgarian companies - members of APSTE, both local and international markets.

All participants received certificates for their participation from the Vice Dean of FEBA, Assoc. Dr. Boryana Bogdanova at the end of the second day.
Due to the great interest in the previous editions, the organizers are planning further training in 2023.
