Young Informatics and Mathematics Students' Day

Mrs. Tzetzka Tzacheva and prof. Ilchev were among the official guests of the event, which took place in FMI on 4th December.

The third new project dedicated to the professional development of the PhD students of the Faculty was presented during the meeting.

Prof. Krassen Stefanov clarified the project goals: 30 PhD students will take part in two international conferences, and will be part of professional development schools during the two years of the project. Mrs. Tzetzka Tzacheva and prof. Ilchev also addressed the audience and congratulated the project.

Presentations of the project goals and tasks followed, and Assoc. Prof. Pavel Boytchev showed three short movies to reveal the thin connection between mathematics and arts. Dr Todor Popov presented on "3D visualization and mathematical models of physical processes".

The meeting was closed with optimism regarding the current project, as well as future ones, dedicated to student development.
