The Prefect of the Vatican Apostolic Library Cardinal Raffaele Farina donated a unique exemplar of the bibliophile edition of Papyrus 24-15 (P 75).
The edition belongs to the series Codicus e vaticanis selecti, Series maior and presents part of the codex “Rap. Bodmer 14-15” with texts of Lukas and Johan. The edition is accompanied by a manuscript by Sever J. Voicu, scriptor graecus of the Apostolic Library. The edition and the manuscript are in a special box carved with the following inscription: UN VENERABILE TESTIMONE DEI VANGELI SECONDO LUCA E SECONDO GIOVANNI: IL PAPIRO BODMER 14-15 (P 75). A VENERABLE WITNESS OF THE GOSPELS ACCORDING TO LUKE AND ACCORDING TO JOHN: THE BODMER PAPYRUS 14-15 (P 75). The exemplar is number 474 of the 550 issued by publishing house “Testimonio Companus” in Madrid.
The second valuable book is a special bibliophile edition Apocalipsis cum Figuris of Albrecht Durer's (1471-1528) pictures, a unique exemplar with 15 prints of the Apocalypse.
