Golo Bardo is a region in East Albania and west Macedonia where live about 10 000 Bulgarian-speaking people, predominantly Muslims.
One of the main problems today is the welfare of the thousands of Bulgarians around the world. The paradox, registered on the pages of the book by Dr Vesela Toncheva, is that in the past the spiritual relations were much stronger than today, in the era of technology and communication.
The book "The Bulgarians from Golo Bardo, Albania. Traditions, Music, Identity" contains the stories, memories and the tune of the Bulgarians from Golo Bardo.
Sofia University students announced their interest and desire to establish firm socio-cultural relations with the Bulgarians around the world.
