Third Bulgarian Kingdom 1879-1946

Scientific conference "Third Bulgarian Kingdom 1879-1946" was organized in the framework of the traditional celebrations of Culture in May at Sofia University. It was organized by the Faculty of History and it was attended by the official guests Assoc. Prof. Daniel Valchev, Minister of Education, Mr. Simeon Saxcoburggotski and his sister Maria-Louisa.

The conference was opened by Assoc. Prof. Plamen Mitev - Dean of Faculty of History, who stated that although the short existence of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom (67 years only) during this period a lot of social, political and cultural changes.

An introductory speech was given by Prof. Andrey Pantev. The conference covered a variety of topics, among which were "The Mythology about the Tarvovo Constitution", "Coltural Strategies of the Third Kingdom", "Monarchy in the Contemporary Textbooks of History", etc.
