The women who manage the largest machine ever made

The Cultural Centre of Sofia University with fundation "Gender Project Bulgaria" present a photo exhibition

The exhibition is dedicated to the women who are scentists and work for CERN. It contains 33 portraits of women with professions which are still regarded as male. The author of the concept is the Italian journalist Elizabeth Dourante DISTI (District of Scientific and Technological Information for Innovation), and the photos are taken by Mike Struik ( CERN ). The international exhibition aims to promote the work of women who have acheved higher positions in professional and social plan.

The exhibition can be seen in the Rectorate, North wing, between 8th and 22nd March, 2011.
