The two volumes of the collection "The process of assimilation between 1985 and 1989 in Bulgaria" are reputed to present the genesis of the questions asked for years, according to most of the numerous attendants of the presentation.

The documents present the evolution of the state attitudes towards the Turkish community in Bulgaria during the 45 years of socialism and the years of the transition. The aim is the complex situation to be presented and to shed light on the decisions made.
