Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, the President, gave green light to the new initiative at a meeting with graduates in Sofia University Aula.
The goal of the project is to encourage young people to participate in crucial decisions about the development of our country. Mr. Plevneliev took the responsibility to transfer the suggestions the young people make to the institutions responsible for their realization. He also added that no politician can afford making decisions about the future without inviting the young people to debate. In addition, he stated that the programme "Bulgaria 2020" will not be completed without taking into consideration the suggestions made by the participants in the event. The President congratulated the Rector, the lecturers and students of Sofia University, for winning 20 (of 38) Eureka Foundation Awards.
Prof. Ilchev stressed on the statement that the young people intellect is the greatest welth of the country, encouraging the students by noting that the future is in their hands.
