"Faculty of Law - better than the others" is the title of the article by Mirela Veselinova, magazine "World of Law"", in which she analyzed the results of "Alpha Research" investigation on the level of the law education in Bulgaria.
The main problems with the law education were identified as lack of practical skills, low representation of the EU Law and practice in the curricula, low language proficiency, and lack of skills for writing law documents.
The quality of education at the Sofia University Faculty of Law received 75% positive answers, with only 21% for the second-best university.
Problems with the language proficiency in both Bulgarian and English were discussed, as well as issues of the quality control and lectures' overload due to the low payment.
