Students and lecturers gathered in the Aula on 1st November to express their respect and love to the friend, lecturer and colleague Prof. Tsotcho Boyadzhiev.
The event was dedicated to Prof. Boyadzhiev's 60th jubilee and the promotion of the collection dedicated to this jubilee: NOMINA essentia res.
Prof. Boyadzhiev
He was born in Troyan, graduated the German Language High School in Lovech, 1970. He studied Philosophy at Sofia University between 1972 and 1976, in 1980 received a PhD degree and Dr. Habil. in 1990. His work was on "Renaissance of the 12th century: the nature and the human". He is currently well respected professor in Old and Medieval Philosophy, Department of History of Philosophy, Philosophy Faculty.
His interests preceded the historic situation which he was in. His work gave the foundation of the Medieval Studies in Bulgaria and encouraged a lot of young people to research.
