Assoc. Prof. Svetoslav Malinov introduced himself and shared political tricks and things he considered of importance for the young audience. His opinion is that the EU was a project of the right as the left could not conceive such an idea. He also pointed out some signposts for investigating the democracy development, such as the trust in the EU institutions and the belief of the citizens in the role of the national institutions. The slow and not very effective procedures of the democracy procedures were overcome with the Lisbon Treaty, according to the speaker.
