The rules for choosing the best sportsperson were changed due to the runner Borislav Borisov who was on the chart list for the second time. Among the best was one more athlet, Sylvia Stefanova. The two athlets won special awards from the Bulgarian Athletics Federation which were given by the publisher of the magazine "Athletics" Anton Bonov. Borisov and Stefanova are trained by Ivanka Karpanova.
