Team leader won a competition in programming

A software engineer, who is a Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics Alumni, came first in a national competition.

The official ceremony of awarding took place on the building of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences on 25th November. This was the first round of the private national competition organized by the PC Magazine Bulgaria and Musala Soft. The institute is a patron of the first round, in collaboration with the American Foundation fro Bulgaria.

Anton Dimitrov, who is a Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics Alumni, came first in a national competition. nton is a team leader in a Bulgarian IT company. Second came Yassen Trifonov, student at 11th grade of the Secondary School of Mathematics "Acad. Kiril Popov", Plovdiv; followed by Ivan Genov, Vesselin Georgiev and Aleksander Georgiev.
The second round of the competition is running under the support of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. The competitors can upload their solutions online through http://konkurs.musala.com up to 11th December.
