The protest was attended by more than 200 students, mostly from Sofia University. It started by a declaration by the initiators read out to the attending students, which was submitted to the Ministry. It contains an analysis of the status of the higher education as a result of the constant budged reductions. Tha main requests are addressed to Minister Ignatov and regard the necessary financial resources in order to prevent the universities from closing down during the winter period, and to ensure students' funding and lecturers' salaries.

The protest lasted two hours and gave the floor to many students. The students were invited to the Ministry, but they insisted on the Minister to go to them.
