"In order to be a leading university, the University cannot afford to neglect the hot problems of the society", stated the Rector, Prof. Ivan Ilchev. That is why, one of the important topics of the day is the one about the roads and highways, but the ones we choose.

It is important for the students to know that the roads are many and everyone can choose their own. It is important to decide what to invest in and the address to the students is to take the road of the intellectual development. Prof. Ilchev also cited the Minister of Education Sergey Ignatiev that education is an adventure. The University is the road to truth, the road to Europe 2020.

The first stop along the highway called Sofia University was also visited by the Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov. He noted the efforts to develop and improve the roads and highways of Bulgaria and the impact these have on the life standard of the students. He addressed them with a wish to preserve the achievements and to study hard.

Ambitions and dreams filled the Rectorate and the grounds of the University, as well as, as one of the students said, "Strength and patience to go down all highways".
