Sofia University teams won again a competition in programming

The 26th Student National Competition in Programming was hosted by the Bourgas Open University last week. 23 teams of 12 universities took part.

Sofia University teams traditionally bettered the other participants. First came the first team of Sofia University, with 10 out of 11 tasks solved: Vladislav Haralampiev, first year, Computer Sciences, Nikola Taushanov, first year, Computer Sciences and Danail Balchev, second year, Computer Sciences.Second came the first team of New Bulgarian University, with 4 tasks solved, and third was the team of University of Tarnovo, with 3 tasks solved.

The second team: Ivan georgiev, Stefan Avramov and Ivan Todorov, all third year, Computer Sciences, came second in the final positions, with 8 tasks solved.

Next competition will be held in Sofia and will be co-hosted by Sofia University, New Bulgarian University and the Technical Univeristy.
