The decree of the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria dated 14th September put an end to a half-century dispute between Sofia University and the Union of the Bulgarian Artists.
The decision was made possible through and agreement on exchange of territory and buildings: the University gave away the building and land on 6 Shipka str to the Artists and received the building next to the Centre for Eastern Languages and Cultures, one stop by the underground from the Rectorate. The Prime Minister Boyko Borisov promised BGN 2 mln to start the redecoration.
An announcement by Prof. Ilchev, abridged
