Sofia University has five new corresponding members

Sofia Univesrity academia has one academician and seven corresponding members of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences altogether.

Current corresponding members Prof. Dimitar Tzalev (Faculty of Chemistry) and Prof. Emil Horozov (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics) were joined by five more lecturers of Sofia University, ellected by the Academic Assembly of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences this week:

- corresponding member in the field of history sciences: Prof. Ivan Ilchev;

- corresponding members in the field of biology sciences: Prof. Roumen Pankov and Prof. Zdravko Lalchev;

-corresponding member in the field of chemistry sciences: Prof. Toni Spasov;

- corresponding member in the field of mathematics: Prof. Krasimir Danov, lecturer at Faculty of Chemistry.

The Assembly elected corresponding member Petar Kralchevsky, lecturer at Faculty of Chemistry of Sofia University, as an Academician a few days ago. Prof. Kralchevsky is the youngest academician at present.
