The Academic Council Decree, issued on 24th September, established the legal status of Sofia University Grand Award for Science and Research
As art. 8 of the Status of the Award requires, the Rector, and the Deans of six faculties, through a procedure of a secret ballot chose to award a research team as follows:
Prof. Boris Galabov, Faculty of Chemistry;
Assoc. Prof. Sonya Ilieva, Faculty of Chemistry;
Petya Bobadova-Parvanova, PhD (an ex-PhD student of Sofia University);
Prof. Henry Shefer III (University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, the USA)
