Sofia University goes to the semi-finals of MIC2

The student team took place in the most prestigious contest in the field of space research MIC2 and won a place for the semi-finals with a poster. Sofia University students competed with 77 teams from 31 countries.

Assoc. Prof. Plamen Dankov announced that this was a very high acknowledgement for the team. He also stated that this would support the establishment of collaboration between the University and the Siberian State Aerospace University, Krasnoyarsk, within the project "Bulgarian University Satellite 2013".

One or two students or PhD students will be supported to present our project in Nagoya, Japan. The Rector of the Siberian State Aerospace University also invited Prof. Ilchev to take part in the Organizing Committee of the annual conference "Reshetnevskie Chtenia" (Reshetnevski Readings).
