Prof. Ivan Ilchev, Rector, and Prof. Aaron Ben Ze'ev, the President of the University of Haifa, signed a Framework agreement for academic collaboration.
During the talks, Prof. Ilchev presented the projects of Sofia University, making clear that these are not projects on paper only. He also stated that Sofia University does not collect agreements, but strives to have only working ones.
Prof. Aaron Ben Ze'ev expressed interest in the forthcoming establishment of Faculty of Arts and Ecological Centre. Prof. Ilchev explained that Sofia University will develop a century-old traditions in History of Arts, social aspects and ethics.
University of Haifa was established in 1963 and is the most pluralistic institution in Israel. The focus is on academic development and social responsibility. Prof. Aaron Ben Ze'ev has been the President of the University of Haifa since 2004 and is one of the world famous experts in research of emotions.
