Sofia University: an active participant in the political debates

"It is a must to design a system for rating the universities according to the quality of education"

If you ask a student from Sofia University which is the event of the week, they will surely answer: the lecture by Dr Simeon Dyankov on "Bulgaria after the crisis"

The Financial Minister described the measures for coping with the financial crisis and the reforms already taking place in Bulgaria - towards the Eurozone. The lecture was delivered in the Aula, with the attendance of many students and mass media representatives.

Dr Dyankov defined the nine priorities of the government for the current mandate: EU Structural Funds, economic politics, development of the non-banking sector, reforms in the state administration, accepting Bulgaria in the Eurozone, higher education, state property, health reform, income agencies, and ecology. The young audience showed interest not only in the job opportunities, but also in Green Bulgaria and renewable resources. Младите хора не останаха само слушатели, те показаха, че се интересуват не само от възможностите за работа, които се отварят пред тях, но също и от теми, като възобновяемите източници и Зелена България.

Comment in the corridors of Sofia University:

"The lecture helped me get informed about the measures against the crisis taken in Bulgaria"
