Children were rescued from drowning during the summer sports and health school for children and lecturers from Sofia University in Lozenetz.
Ivaylo Prokopov is a member of the Sports Department rescued one child and prevented the drowning of more than 12 children from Russia. The accident happened on 20th July.
During a training in swimming, Ivaylo Prokopov noticed signs by the life guard concerning a person at a small distance from Ivaylo. He managed to help the child out of the newly-formed pit and guided a group of children to get out of the water.
